Jeff Ber is a dedicated business professional with more than a decade of experience. A Fellow of the CSI, he has an extensive history in providing top-notch guidance in all matters related to business management services. Specializing in commerce, Jeff began his professional journey as an undergraduate at John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, where he earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management. All the while, Jeff worked as an analyst at Peyto Energy Trust during the summer.
He began his professional career with Edward Jones working as an Analyst. It didn’t take long for Jeff Ber to begin distinguishing himself in his field; in 2007 he won the Summer Asset Gathering Competition. A year later, Jeff became a Senior Analyst at CIBC (Imperial Service). Here, he provided a wide range of services to clients including credit, cash management, and protection planning.
This combined experience served him well in his next position at ScotiaMcLeod as a Wealth Analyst. Jeff’s responsibilities included developing holistic plans for existing and prospective clients, factoring in a multitude of influences. Jeff Ber not only grew the book of business (assets) by over 1500% at ScotiaMcLeod, but he also became a leader, organizing and leading theme-based seminars for other professionals. During his time as a Wealth Analyst, Jeff also earned his Fellow of FCSI® Designation and his CIM® Designation.
Jeff moved on the become an Analyst, where he managed a portfolio for high net worth clients. He advised his clients on all things related to accounting services including tax and estate planning, retirement, and quantitative research and analysis of portfolio performance.
Jeff Ber has been recognized for his acuity in analysis services, as well as his approach to creating personal relationships with individuals and business clients to help them reach their goals. In 2015 he was named one of the Top 50 Analysts by Wealth Professional, a leading independent publication for monetary planning and advice professionals. That same year he earned the “Young Gun of the Year” accolade from the same magazine, recognizing him for his outstanding analysis services. Jeff received the honor once more the following year, as one of the most influential professionals shaping the future of the Canadian wealth industry.
Jeff Ber is currently pursuing his own entrepreneurial endeavors, while also balancing his role as Vice President of Operations at Oneball, an organization committed to providing meaningful support for people who have testicular cancer and destroying the stigma around discussing men’s health.
